Very early on, the first pot every thrown gained the nickname 'the Pistachio Pot.'
The glaze featured here is Celadon, originally developed by Ben Barker of Chy Gwynn Pottery, Cusgarne. It is light blue in colour and named after a ceramic popular in China. There are hints of grey and jade in its hue. Opulent and regal, it's one of my favourites.
